Rural Vitality
We strive to understand the unique opportunities in each community and provide tailored support. By aligning these efforts with Landus’ priorities, we embrace our responsibility to help rural communities thrive.

At Landus, we are committed to fostering strong, meaningful partnerships in rural Iowa. Supporting initiatives that enhance rural vitality is at the heart of what we do, and we focus on projects that matter most to our farming families, employees, and the counties where we live and work. This is accomplished through strategic partnerships, charitable donations, community outreach and a variety of civic service activities. Through collaboration and a strong culture of engagement, we stay closely connected to local endeavors and empower, support, strengthen and guide our colleagues to take an active role in strengthening the communities we call home.

Cultivate the next generation of agricultural leaders by fostering early interest in ag-related careers and providing meaningful development opportunities. We build strong connections between Landus, local schools, and youth groups, ensuring a vibrant and skilled future workforce for the ag industry.
Actively support and participate in local events and gatherings, including parades and town festivals, strengthening community ties and building pride in the areas we serve. Every personal connection in our communities is an opportunity to be a part of something meaningful and lasting.
Through our Core Grants, Landus proudly invests over $100,000 annually in organizations that help rural communities thrive. We focus our support on four key areas: 4-H clubs, FFA chapters, county fair boards, and local emergency management services. Each quarter, Landus spotlights one of these core groups, ensuring consistent, meaningful impact throughout the year. These partnerships reflect our ongoing commitment to giving back and building strong, resilient communities across Iowa.

In addition to our Core Grants, Landus offers an open donation and sponsorship request process. We welcome applications from organizations that align with our focus areas and serve communities where Landus has a presence. A brief application is required. Please allow 4-6 weeks for a response.

This opportunity is offered to high school seniors in our territory who plan to obtain a post-secondary education in an agricultural-related field. These young leaders play a critical role in shaping agriculture in the coming decades.

If you'd like to request support outside of the core grants, please fill out the donation & sponsorship request form or contact Sarah Heineman. To ensure operation within our budget, Landus will only approve a limited number of the many requests received.
Please contact Sarah Heineman at sarah.heineman@landus.ag with any questions. Thank you!
